How many clothes are in your closet?
Have you ever thought of the question, "How many clothes are in your closet?"
A lot of us have many clothes- and let's not forget shoes- in our cupboard. While the ones we don't like, we just get rid of. But where do you put those ones?
Did you know that each person, on an average, throws out 68 pounds of clothes per year into the trash?
This is horrible. There are people who don't even have clothes or food. Some children who don't have these necessities will go through the trash looking for their desired and very much needed things.
We should reach out and help others. Who knows that one day, we could be in that same needing situation, and wouldn't you want others to help you?
So see where you can make a difference. Giving your unwanted or outgrown toys, clothes, shoes, or whatever to organizations or even people in your neighborhood who need it. Just because people are not on the streets does not mean they might be finding it tough. Especially in today's economy, every hand helping makes a difference.
Wishing you lots of Tasty English Delights.
