4,200 beacons lit for the Queen.

4,200 beacons lit across the globe to mark the Queens sixty years of reign. It's amazing to think how much my Queen is loved. Yet to many that I spoke to today I felt a sense of ignorance. I spoke with pride about my Queen yet many could not understand why the big do in London. Well lets put it bluntly have you reigned over a country for sixty years? There's a sense of pride when switching on the telly to see the celebrations in London to see her smile. Yet how many after this is all said and done will understand fully the impact of these days. It is history in the making. It is not a movie nor a telly saga or show it's the real thing. She is a woman to be respected and we as Brit's love her. I take pride in seeing The Thames like I have never seen before, seeing her smile as her son made a speech tonight and I take pride in knowing that although I am far from home. I too am British. I suggest who ever takes the time to switch on the telly tonight you think how amazing that this Queen has served my country so well. Those beacons are lit with respect. I humbly thank God for my Queen. God Save the Queen.
