Books now in movies

I absolutely think it is wonderful how so many children's books are being turned into movies from Ramona and Beezus by Beverly Clearly to Judie Moody by Megan McDonald, Lemonade Mouth by Mark Peter Hughes and then of course classic Mr. Popper's Penguins by Richard and Florence Atwater which my daughter loved that is out in theatres this summer starring Jim Carrey. Lovely books that bring imagination to life. In Lemonade Mouth, the film on Disney really allows teens to have a voice to be heard. I thought it was excellent. Ramona and Beezus just reminded me so much of childhood and having fun.
If you have never read good children's books then I suggest you do. Classics like the Railway Children by Edith Nesbit, Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfeild, Wind and the Willows by Kenneth Grahame, and C.S. Lewis's books to name a few. The Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson I have never read the book but the movie was amazing.
Allow your life to be filled with classics that allow us as people or children to stand up for what we believe in and to imagine. Go for it, Dream Big, and you never know where it will take you.

Wishing you lots of Tasty English Delights.
