No pant day whatever next??

Well I have heard it all I was on the internet today and saw yes can you believe it in Denver which I would imagine is a little chiller than the south they Have today as No pants Day. I have never heard of anything so silly. It appears there are days for everything I guess if you put them all on a calendar the calendar would be filled. I mean what a market for the card retailers my friend in England who paints would now have a market to draw more things as well as snow scenes. With pant day I did read that they are asking people to donate their pants. I do hope that on Saturday they get some new ones on. I mean somethings are best not seen. I think that perhaps we should have a no hat day especially for some Royal Brits.

Bagpuss Memory Lane

I love to go down memory lane and see Bagpuss

asleep in the window again.

To see the mice come alive,

And fix broken things, one or even two.

There's Madeline, the rag doll,

Full of stories galore.

And Gabriel, the toad, who sings a song

To soothe our soul.

The Prefessor waffles along.

The things are fixed and to the window they are gone,

When Emily comes along.

Bagpuss, fat furry catpuss, you'll never be gone.

Will and Kate cycling in the moonlight.

Mayor Boris gave Will and Kate a tandem bike,
they gave me such a fright as I saw them cycling in the Mews in the moonlight.
They're practising for the Olympic games and hope to win first place again.
Mum don't forget to put the kettle on, as we might see them in sight
cycling by our house tonight.

The Royal Wedding in Rhyme- Part 1

I've heard it all, from tripping policeman making the crowds roar, from Will and Kate on fridge doors, to pearly whites engraved with Will and Kate forever more to adore. It appears the Mad Hatter lent his hats not just one but many at that royal act. With red, white, and blue flags flying high, and many a single lass waiting for Prince Harry to come by. With telly's on ,we watched balloons floating by, filling up the British skies. And joining in, in our English delights, we must not forget to put out our royal gnomes in the garden tonight. Let's not forget our furry friends, and buy them a Will and Kate coat for them to wear around the bend. So as my rhyme comes to an end, we're British royals til the end.

Hats of to us Brits on a wedding day to remember.

Well we got up early and yes I had many comments did you watch the wedding, are you really British. Yep and proud of it.

As we celebrated the Royal wedding by making a Jamie Oliver meal.

There is a few things to ponder about us Brits who on earth wears those hats? I guess we all found out yesterday. I am not a hat person I wear an old faithful one, in the winter, and I love straw hats. However after seeing yesterdays display I will have to say I will keep to my say maybe up $20 hat specials or perhaps I will do as Prime Minister David Cameron's wife did by wearing no hat at all.

What will you be Eating on the Royal wedding Day 2011

As many people get ready to celebrate the marriage of Will and Kate I ask you the daunting question what will be on your plate on April 29th 2011, to celebrate this event.
As many journalist flood the British pubs and many street parties are had with cake and Cornish pasties been eaten, never forgetting the mad hatter's tea party from Alice in Wonderland. Lets think back to some good old meals from the Motherland.
Bubble and squeak
Mushy peas and fish and chips.
Shepherds pie
Marinas wonderful home cooked meals Love them everyone.
Yuck liver my mum said it was good for me I am still not convinced.
British scones and jam
Strawberries and cream
Lets not forget the old butty sandwich yes Harry will probably be giving this at his party bash for his brother.
From champagne to fizzy drinks whatever you are having to make a toast to this happy couple.
